Founded by pastry chef Judy Lai, Roots in Rice creates Asian-inspired, gluten-free cake mixes rooted in the flavors she grew up with in New York City’s Chinatown. The collection brings distinctive flavors such as ube, pandan, Japanese strawberry, and classic milk tea to home baking, combining Lai’s pastry background with her goal of making gluten-free desserts that everyone at the table can enjoy.
