Baked Oatmeal
This baked oatmeal recipe is a new spin on an old favorite! Start your winter morning off with a warm, satisfying breakfast the fam will love.
Ingredients
- Prep the ingredients the night before, except for the milk. In the morning, add the milk and cook. In no time, you will have a hot, rich and satisfying breakfast to share with the family
- 1½ cups Gluten-Free rolled oats
- ¼ cup Walnuts, almonds or pecans (or a combination), chopped
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Maple syrup
- ½ tsp Vanilla
- ¼ tsp Cinnamon
- pinch Salt
- 3 cups Milk
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350℉. Grease an 8” square glass baking dish.
- In large bowl, combine all ingredients upto the milk.
- Stir in milk once other ingredients are well mixed together. Pour mixture into baking dish.
- Cook for 40 minutes or until mixture is softened and all milk is absorbed.
- Serve alongside fruit (e.g. berries, apple wedges, melon) and additional milk / syrup if desired.
