IKI Japanese Bistro has obtained the Gluten-Free Approved certification from the Gluten-Free Food Program in 2017.

The National Celiac Association and Coeliaque Québec endorse this Approved program that reflects IKI Japanese Bistro’s commitment to creating a secure space by producing celiac-safe, gluten-free food. This certification not only assures the gluten-free community that IKI  Japanese Bistro has achieved the standards, but it also shows that its management has committed to upholding and maintaining them on a daily basis.

IKI Japanese Bistro is the first GF-Approved restaurant in BC. And the first GF-Approved Japanese establishment in Canada. The owner, Makoto, is passionate about providing a safe place for his customers with celiac to enjoy a meal out. Sushi, tempura, rice bowls, teriyaki, noodles, and gyoza are all prepared gluten-free in this warm-hued Japanese venue.
