Mamma Pina’s Gluten Free Flour creators, Nino and Christa developed this unique blend in honor of Nino’s beloved Nonna. When she immigrated to Canada from Italy, she found she could no longer enjoy the pizzas, pasta, and bread that she grew up with and prepared for her family – she had become gluten intolerant.

Mamma Pina’s passion for cooking inspired Nino to become a classically trained French chef. Then, his wife Christa was diagnosed with Celiac disease. As they adjusted to living with her disease, they were repeatedly disappointed by the quality of available gluten free foods.

So they decided to create this amazing flour blend using gluten free wheat starch and other fine ingredients, to bring the taste and texture of wheat flour back to baking.
