Gluten-Free Bakery Girl Bakery opened its doors in 2012, when owner, Tricia King was inspired by customers with celiac disease and her own gluten intolerance. Tricia’s previous experiences working as a pastry and sous chef aided her with developing, testing and introducing her original gluten-free recipes. Knowing that the only way to address celiac disease and gluten sensitivities, Tricia set out to eliminate gluten — but keep the taste.
Made From Scratch
Tricia and her team are proud that they never use gluten-free mixes—everything sold is prepared fresh and completely from scratch. When each order comes in, they are baked, packaged, and delivered or shipped right away to ensure the utmost freshness. The shop in St. Michaels, Maryland was able to expand beyond the brick-and-mortar shop by offering shipping options across the US from their online shop on their website. This also allows them to offer wholesale opportunities in addition to their online and retail shop.
