Alyssa’s Bakery Products have been Certified Gluten-Free by the Gluten-Free Food Program (GFFP) since 2022, and the National Celiac Association endorses the GFFP certification program.

We started experimenting from our bakery / deli store in 2010. Our goal was to create a cookie that was different from any store bought cookies or bars that are mostly dry and loaded with unwanted ingredients. We wanted to make something delicious but also healthy. Cookies that were without hydrogenated oils, margarine, additives, or preservatives.

After testing an old family recipe, we were able to make cookies of high-quality that tasted homemade and were also nutritious. Within a few weeks we started to sell our cookies at local nutrition, fitness, and small grocery stores.

In fact, our daughter Alyssa liked them so much that we decided to name the cookies after her!
