Our story began with founders Mauro and Rose Candido, inspired by Mauro’s journey through digestive challenges and a non-Hodgkin lymphoma diagnosis. Determined to stay healthy without giving up the joy of bread, Mauro used his baking expertise to craft Slice of Life — a gluten-free, low-carb bread made with wholesome ingredients like almond flour, psyllium, and flaxseed.
